I never expected I'd be sharing a weight loss or nutrition plan on my website but somehow feel led to share on this important and popular topic.
I chose a tall frame to embody in this journey -- almost 5 foot 10 inches. I've been pretty thin or pretty average in weight most of my life and felt unconcerned about weight loss. When I felt myself getting heavier than I liked I would simply increase the cardiovascular exercise and everything would be back in place within a few weeks. In June 2011, I saw a picture of myself that showed me that an adjustment was in order. I hadn't been feeling as positive about my size or physical shape for a few months and this photo was a call to action. My schedule was busy enough that I was less confident in my ability to increase my time exercising like I would have done in the past.
I went to a chiropractor near my home (I've never been in a chiropractor's office before) intending to try HCG, thinking I only wanted to lose about 10 pounds. The chiropractor shared information about a program he just completed called Ideal Protein. He felt like it he would offer me more energy than HCG (he had used both). I felt led to try Ideal Protein. For me, it was exactly what I needed and I see why the energetic flows of the Universe/God led me in that direction.
In the process of my 10 weeks on Ideal Protein I
1) Completely changed my eating habits, eating much more healthy than my fast food, highly processed habits from before.
2) Recovered from my sugar and carbohydrate addiction which I didn't know I had (by day 2 the withdrawal was pretty intense and I have some pretty funny stories to share on this at some point)
2) Lost about 20 pounds within the first 7 weeks
3) Went from about 24% body fat to 18% body fat with absolutely no increase in exercise nor wait training
3b) Proved to myself the reality of Ketosis
4) Went from a size 8/10 to a 4/6 with a waistline so trim I've never had this before even in my best physical shape at 21 and 27 years old (ahh the effect of excessive carbs on our waistlines)
5) Feel so much better about myself and the way I feel in my body
6) Raised my energetic vibration, mostly due to the improved eating habits introduced in the plan.
7) Three months since starting I'm no longer on the meal plan and still feeling great. Not sure what the scale says but my clothes are still fitting great and I feel good and have kept up the healthier eating habits fairly consistently (but not perfectly and I'm ok with that).
Is Ideal Protein the only way I could've had these positive effects? No. I'm sure there are many, many ways I could've reached this healthier way of being. I have never experienced another Diet or Weight Loss plan so I cannot personally compare it to others. It was pretty strict and I followed it, feeling committed to positive change. Just wanted to share my experience which may somehow assist you as you seek a higher state of well-being, which we are all deserving of.
